Are your headlights worn out?

According to CAA-Quebec, 1 in 3 motorists use headlights that are worn out, which greatly reduces their visibility!

Clear headlights let you see an obstacle about sixty metres earlier. At 40 km/h, that gives you six seconds more to react and possibly avoid a collision.

A recent study (2010) carried out by CAA-Quebec found that headlight lenses worn out by weather, abrasives applied to roads and debris cause a reduction in lighting of 50% compared to lenses in good condition. The tests for this study were done in a closed circuit under favourable atmospheric conditions.
